Posted Salary: $46,000-$48,000

Job Description:

This position is responsible for assisting the Director of New Student Orientation Programs in his/her efforts to continually seek opportunities to enhance our ability to deliver student-centered programming that fosters collaboration across departments while providing an inviting, welcoming, and informative first look for new students and their family members at the University of Toledo.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education/experience/licensing:
• Bachelor’s Degree required (Higher Education, College Student Personnel, Business Administration, or related field) Master's Degree Preferred
• At least 2 years’ experience required working in the field of Higher Education including Part-Time/Full-Time Employment, Internships, Graduate Assistantships, or Student Employment. Preferred experience within Orientation, Advising, Student Affairs, or Student Involvement
• At least 2 years’ experience in direct supervisory experience is preferred.

Communication and other skills:
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, organizational and planning skills
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Ability to work cooperatively with others – proven team member
• Advanced computer/technology skills, proficient in MS Office
• Proven Organizational Skills
• Foster diversity: Understand, respect, and embrace differences

 

Conditions of Employment:
